Imagine drifting off to sleep in an ancient greenhouse tucked away in the middle of a forest. As you lie beneath the arched glass roof, the gentle rustle of leaves, moonlight streams through the weathered panes, bathing you in a silvery glow and the smell of nature.  The feeling is otherworldly.

The greenhouse’s antique metal framework, entwined with ivy and dotted with tiny dewdrops, speaks of countless seasons passed. It feels alive, a timeless guardian of the forest’s secrets. As you nestle into the soft, organic bedding, the contrast of cool glass and the warmth of your cozy sanctuary fills you with a profound connection to the earth.

When morning arrives, the space transforms into a cathedral of light. Birds chirp cheerfully in the trees above and you might have one of our neighbour cats joining you for their morning cuddle.

Your day begins with a quiet walk through the forest trails and the pure luxury of simply letting time slip away as you listen to the whispers of the forest.

This is more than a stay—it’s a chance to breathe deeply, to reconnect with yourself and the natural world, and to revel in the rare magic of a greenhouse in the woods.

We had an amazing weekend here with a group of friends. The place has perfect vibes for autumn, a truly rustic and picturesque house but with all the amenities you may need. The greenhouse was a nice touch. And even though there was an issue with the pellet stove in the greenhouse during our visit, a perfect solution was provided with an electric heater. And we loved the kitty Juliette, brought her some nice snacks and she became our best friend during our stay. Would 100% recommend this place!

We are only temporary guardians of historic estate

Hi!

We are Fred and Elke and we have a 19th-century cosy farmhouse located in the countryside close to Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp. We renovated our cottage over the last couple of months so it regained its splendour of yesteryear. We tried to restore it by only using antique and/or old (re-used or up-cycled) building materials without compromising on today’s comfort.

Our house is our happy place, it's next to a (humpy bumpy) private road in a forest which allows you to disconnect completely from a busy life and find your inner peace in the middle of nature.
